FAQ

  • Do I need to be vaccinated to travel with Indico Travels?

In order to keep our travellers and the local communities we visit safe, we are implementing a "must be vaccinated or recovered" rule for all our travellers. By booking, you will be confirming that you are either fully vaccinated with a WHO recognised anti-COVID-19 vaccine, or that you have recovered from COVID-19 and have proof to demonstrate that. When you book, you may be asked to supply proof of vaccination or recovery. If you cannot submit proof of vaccination or recovery upon request, you cannot travel with Indico Travels and we will proceed with a trip cancellation as per our terms and conditions. Get in touch if you have any questions!

  • How do I know if my trip will take place?

Our trips visit countries all over the world and the situation is different in each. We currently intend to run all bookable departures on our website. They will take place if and when we can operate them safely and well, and only once our partners on the ground give the green light. Our priority is keeping you safe on your adventures with us. We aim to confirm at latest 45 days before departure whether your trip will indeed take place.

  • What happens if my trip is cancelled?

If we have to cancel your trip due to COVID restrictions, you will get a full refund of your payment. In this case, you also have the option to rebook your trip to a future travel date for free - the current ticket price for your new trip will be applied. If you decide to cancel your booking, our cancellation fees will be applied as per the terms and conditions.

    • Is it safe to travel or book now?

Since the health and safety of our customers is our most important concern, we will only offer trips to destinations which are ready to welcome travelers with open arms. This includes all health and safety standards are met, set by local and national authorities. Further, we constantly check the situation with our local partners on site in order to assure a relaxed and exciting vacation.

  • What are the entry requirements to my dream destination?

This depends on the country you would like to travel to. Entry requirements vary from country to country, therefore there is no general answer to this question. If you are planning to book a trip, please contact us, and we will inform you about the current status and what is needed to participate in your desired trip.

  • What safety measures is Indico Travels taking on the ground?

All of our local partners on the ground follow the rules and health regulations requested by local authorities. In addition to that, our tour guides are all trained regarding COVID protection measures, carry desinfectant and activities will take place outside where it makes sense. Before your trip, we’ll brief you on local regulations, and you’ll also be briefed in person by your guide on arrival.

  • What options do I have if I do not want to go on my booked trip?

The safety and health of our customers are our number 1 priority - we would never let our customers travel if there were strong evidence that it is not safe to do so. Therefore, we are in constant exchange with our partners on the ground and the relevant authorities.
